Planning begins now. Events are August 15 and 22, 5 – 10 p.m.

Start right away to help JADE District with garbage and recycling at this multicultural event. After two successful years of this event, they would like to meet some sustainability goals this year. Help plan and set up garbage and clear stream recycling (and possible cardboard for vendors) at the event. Contact Community Environmental Services - Portland State University to arrange for materials, coordinate with garbage hauler, train and supervise volunteers and vendors.

20,000 people attended last summer, bringing individuals and groups together to celebrate the diversity of the Southeast Portland community. There will be over 60 multi-ethnic food and retail vendors, a stage full of Multi-cultural performances, a Beer Garden, Mini Farmer's Market, Kids activities... and more!
